They have no excuse for not knowing God. (by Brittney Borowski)
Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Most heroes wear a cape, but mine wore a cross.

This is EXACTLY what I needed to hear tonight…
God is inserting into me the fear of him. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Proverbs 1:7). If I cry after knowledge and lift my voice after understanding, if I seek her as silver and search for her as hid treasures, then shall I understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God (Proverbs 2:3-5). I must fear God (1 Peter 2:17). Everything I’ve spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which I have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops (Luke 12:3). I am fearful of his judgement for he is just.. I have been double minded and a double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8) so I must cleanse my hands for I have sinned and must purify my heart for I have been double minded. (James 4:8). God has guided me through scripture what to avoid and warned me to repent but I have failed to listen due to stubbornness, selfishness, anger, rejection, loneliness. I was angry towards God for awhile and I told him I needed time. God has called me to be holy for he is holy (1 Peter 1:16), he and has redeemed me with with precious blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:19). I have worth. I must present my body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God which is my reasonable service (Romans 12:1), my body is a temple of the Holy Ghost, since my body is not my own for I have been bought with a price I must glorify God in my body and spirit which are his (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). I must gird up the loins of my mind (1 Peter 1:13) and renew my mind (Romans 12:2) I’ve compromised my relationship with God for the world. I’ve compromised my relationship with God to try and fill in a void only he can fill. The Lord is at hand (Philippians 4:5), so I want to by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: (Romans 2:7) and to do God’s will (Matthew 7:21; 12:50). The Christian life is not an easy life; “For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;” (Philippians 1:29). I am a fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), in his image (Genesis 1:27), I am child of God (1 John 3:2) and I am thankful fro his grace and forgiveness.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6) and for those effected by the typhoon in the Philippines.

Doing good deeds will NOT get you into heaven, nor will being a good person or obeying the old law. It will not make you righteous neither. No matter how hard you try, not matter how many prayers you pray, or good deed you do, you can’t do by your own earthly strength.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (KJV)
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Romans 2:13 (KJV)
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Romans 8:3 KJV
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Jesus DID NOT die for nothing. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: (Galatians 3:13). But he rose again (Matthew 28:6) so when we rise it is no longer us but Christ in us (Galatians 2:20)

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
Reunited with God…
There are times you feel completely disconnected from God. He’s not gone, he’s waiting for you to call on him again.
I was going through a rocky week last week. I felt really far away from God. My soul was at unrest. I felt like I had lost control over my life.
